Unit 5

The Love and Kindness exercise to me was trigger more of a emotional response to me which I tend to stay away from. When I meditate I rather just go blank and restart my brain to start the day or in the day in a good note. The Subtle mind exercise allowed for me to do that. I liked this exercise a lot better because it allowed for me to relax my mind especially the day I did it I was in a physics class and I felt like my mind would not stop working. It helped clear my mind and allowed me to sleep with dreaming about linear equations and solar minimums. 

The connection between spiritual wellness to mental and physical wellness is that it is a direct connection. If you want to achieve mental and physical wellness you need to be spiritual balanced, this will allow for the results that you are wanting to achieve to happen. With all three balanced you can achieve anything.

    This weeks exercise did help a lot with mind training. I found it easier to do the exercises early in the morning so I can jump start my focus and start my day refreshed. I get so frustrated when I cannot clear my mind before going to sleep! I am going to try and do these practices more at night to help with that. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
